Palazzo Vecchio

The Tuscan quality of wine

... five, four, three, two, one is here now ... the harvest is upon us. The white grapes, Malvasia and Grechetto for the VinSanto will be harvested by hand, and then towards the end of the month the red grapes for most Sangiovese which is the main blend of all our wines; present at 80% in the Rosso di Montepulciano "Dogana" to reach 100% of the Noble "Terrarossa".

The enhancement of Tuscan products also passes through their label. From this assumption comes the decision taken by the Region that allows to add, as an additional element of identification, the wording Tuscany in the labels of the NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO.
The "Toscana" brand, now known throughout the world as a quality brand, will find space in the Nobile labels with the wording DOCG.TOSCANA.
The Rosso di Montepulciano and the Vinsanto are registered in the label DOC.TOSCANA.

"The Saints of Tuscany" were presented and tasted at the Venice Film Festival, a selection of the best Vin Santi carefully chosen by Federico Minghi. Seven producers including Palazzo Vecchio with his Vin Santo 2008. The other six Vin Santi were (Contucci, Dei, Felsina, Rocca di Castagnoli, Rocca delle Macie, Querciavalle).

We thank Federico Minghi for selecting us and all the entrepreneurs of Siena in Vetrina and companies that with their work and dedication contribute day by day to promoting the territory.

Trying out the first wine that was produced is always an emotion.. a wine that has passed all the tests of time and that after 29 years looks just like an adult .. His character is strong he has not lost his identity at all, time has made him wiser. It is impressive how morphologically it is similar to its younger brothers, born from the same mother earth and raised by the same family.

A tris of colors for the new corkscrews of Palazzo Vecchio to the classic Nero was joined by a very feminine Fuchsia fashion and a bright Yellow.
The Idea was to have colors easily visible and of greater impact. successful experiment!
